Bright and colorful and fun.
Others may be more like silk
Striving always to be number one.

Just like a quilt needs a design
And colors both soft and bold
Our family quilt has need for both
If our story is to be told.

All kinds of pieces are sewn in
With stitches large and small
And in our family quilt of love
